KubeDB Health Checker

KubeDB Health Checker In KubeDB v2022.08.08 , we’ve improved KubeDB database health checks and users can now control the behavior of the health checks performed by KubeDB. We’ve added a new field called healthChecker under spec. It controls the behavior of health checks. It has the following fields: spec.healthChecker.periodSeconds specifies the interval between each health check iteration. spec.healthChecker.timeoutSeconds specifies the timeout for each health check iteration. spec.healthChecker.failureThreshold specifies the number of consecutive failures to mark the database as NotReady.

Announcing KubeDB v2022.03.28

We are pleased to announce the release of KubeDB v2022.03.28 . This release is a bug fix release for v2022.02.22 . In this release we have fixed a memory leak in Postgres sidecar (known as pg-coordinator) which will cause the postgres pod to restart due to OOMKill by Kubernetes. Our regular feature release is planned to be out in 2 weeks. If you are not affected by this particular issue, you can ignore this patch release.
